Waipapa Bay’s landmark launch in innovative, low carbon paper bottle marks a milestone in our ongoing commitment to supporting global conservation and sustainability efforts. Made from 94% recycled paper, it is 5x lighter than a standard glass wine bottle and has an 85% lower carbon foorprint.
The name Waipapa (pronounced Why-papa) comes from the laid-back surf spot on the Pacific Ocean, a place of stunning natural beauty. It is a fantastic spot for wildlife watching and inspired the label design. Waipapa Bay Wines are proud supporters of
Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC). Each bottle sold supports WDC’s Climate Giant project, which helps protect whales – one of our biggest allies in combatting climate change. WDC is a registered charity in England and Wales (No. 1014705).
