Broadland Drinks (BDL) - Broadland Drinks is an independently owned company with a passion for creating drink brands people love.  We specialise in both innovative drinks and quality imported wine and have an extensive portfolio of both branded and private label products.
How we work – we create and bottle our own drinks brands at our British Retail Consortium (BRC) AA+ accredited Norfolk winery, and supply leading retailers and wholesalers in both the on and off-trade, in the UK and USA.  Using extensive market insight, we partner with our customers to identify opportunities for both branded and own label products and drive sales through our brand marketing team.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a junior marketeer to join a talented, passionate and supportive marketing team. Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, you will play an important role in helping grow our portfolio of drinks brands across the on- and off-trade.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • support the Brand team to develop and execute brand plans that deliver strong return on investment (ROI) against each of our brand’s agreed objectives
  • work closely with internal designers and external agencies to bring our brands to life via engaging design
  • play an active role in planning and implementing campaigns that deliver against agreed objectives, with a focus on social and PR
  • assist the Senior Brand Manager with day-to-day management of our brands, including sales team liaison, NPD project management, and responding to consumer comments
  • assist the wider marketing team on key initiatives, including innovation projects, events and sampling
  • take the lead on your assigned brands, working with colleagues to identify opportunities and take them to market
  • be our industry insider: keep up to date with the latest trends, launches and market news and report back to the team
About You:
You will have strong evidence of the following key skills & competencies:
  • Ideally 1-2 years’ experience in a consumer or trade marketing role; FMCG experience desirable but not essential
  • Passionate about brands, food and drinks
  • A creative thinker, able to balance the bigger picture with excellent attention to detail
  • A self-starter, able to manage your own workload with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communicator
  • A real team player, happy to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, flexible, and with a start date of August / September 2022.
