Broadland Wineries is launching two new wine concepts into North America –
Proudly Vegan and the festive collection
Advent Calendar. Broadland Wineries, an international wine supplier and producer, is an innovator in wine and provides retailers in North America with a one- stop-shop for wines from all over the world, in a variety of different formats, under
private and
branded labels.
Proudly doesn’t claim to be the first Vegan wine but it is the first where all the packaging has been checked that it is vegan friendly, right down to the ink and the glue. The first wines under the Proudly Vegan banner are both from Chile’s central valley - Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. Dr Arabella Woodrow, Broadland’s Master of Wine, explains
“we wanted vegans to be able to buy great tasting wine, knowing every element was 100% vegan”.
The
Advent Calendar contains 24 different small 187 ml bottles of wine and Prosecco including the latest US favourites, a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Argentinean Malbec and an Italian Pinot Grigio blush wine.
US wine industry veteran, David Durden, who joined Broadland at the beginning of the year, commented today,
“Broadland’s set up is unique within the US market – in addition to offering a broad range of branded wines, we can quickly and cost-effectively source quality private label and bulk wines from all over the world.”
Broadland has a long-standing relationship with a number of global retailers and is working with the same groups in North America. Today, Broadland Wineries is a $100m per annum turnover business, an average annual growth of 20% per annum since 2006.
Broadland Wineries will be exhibiting at
Prowein (Hall 9 Stand G25) from 18-20 March 2018, and will also be attending the
San Francisco International Bulk Wine & Spirits Show in July 2018.
