Broadland Wineries increase medal count

Monday 19 October 2015

Taking the title of the first competition of its kind, The International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) was established in 1969 to identify, reward and promote the world’s best wines, spirits and liqueurs. The IWSC is known for its formidable judging process and is truly international in its reach and recognition. Following a rigorous two-staged judging process and detailed chemical and microbiological analyses, winning an IWSC award is no mean feat.

Paying testimony to the quality and value of the wines available from Broadland Wineries, it is with great pleasure we announce our 2015 IWSC winners from the South American, Australasia and South African tranches.

Collecting a fantastic 9 more medals in the 2015 International Wine & Spirit Competition’s latest tranches, Broadland Wineries is delighted to announce the following winners:

Following the success in both the New York International Wine Competition, Sommelier Wine Awards, International Wine Challenge, Decanter World Wine Awards and the IWSC Spanish tranche announced earlier in the year, Broadland Wineries is delighted to reveal the 2015 total medal count is a fantastic 54 awards! This brilliant increase in awards pays testimony to our wine sourcing team and director of wine, Dr. Arabella Woodrow, Master of Wine.
