Award-winning wine and drinks producer Broadland Drinks has hired Adam Marshall as Senior Wine Buyer. He joins Broadlands most recently from Kingsland Drinks, having also held senior buying positions at Bottle Green, Asda, Bestway and Nisa.
Marshall will be responsible for developing Broadland’s imported wine portfolio across the on- and off-trade. Working on both Broadland brands and private label, he will also be helping to source lower carbon propositions that support Broadland’s goal of reducing BWS’ impact on the environment.
Broadland Drinks launched its
‘one stop shop to cut carbon’ at the International Bulk Wine and Spirits Show last November to help retailers and brand owners reduce their carbon footprint. The Norfolk company offers imported, British, and English wines, Perry and innovative drinks in a full range of low carbon packaging formats: BiBs, lightweight glass bottles, frugal paper bottles, kegs, pouches and aluminium cans. It was one of the first companies in the UK to install a Bag in Box filling line 40 years ago.
Jonathan Skinner, Head of Procurement at Broadland Drinks, said “With a number of innovation projects in the pipeline, Adam joins the team at an exciting time. With Adam’s skills, experience and network within the wine trade, we are confident he will be of significant help to our customers and our team.”
