Did you know whales are contributing to fight the climate crisis by helping the oceans to produce more oxygen and absorb more carbon than all of the earth’s forests?
This Sunday 18
th February marks both World Whale Day and National Drink Wine Day, so it’s the perfect time to raise a glass and celebrate Waipapa Bay’s support of WDC’s Climate Giants project.
We love working with marine charity Whale and Dolphin Conservation, with a donation from each bottle going towards their project to restore whale populations and enhance the health of the ocean. Since our partnership started, we’ve raised thousands of pounds towards building a better future for whales, dolphins and the planet. Check out their
short video on the role whales play in combatting climate change.
According to Kantar, over 60% of shoppers are more likely to switch to an environmentally friendly brand; Waipapa Bay not only does good, offering enhanced consumer appeal, but importantly it tastes fantastic too. Grapes are grown in the northeastern coastal region of Marlborough to produce a delightful and crisp, multi-award-winning Sauvignon Blanc. So, it’s a win-win for you and your customers.
